Watson was a first round pick in the 2004 NFL Draft where the dynastic New England Patriots saw enough talent to take him ahead of some impressive competition at the tight end position. In addition to his smarts, (he is rumored to have scored a 41 on the notorious Wonderlic Test, roughly equating to an IQ of 142) Watson turned heads with a nearly unprecedented display of hustle during the 2005 AFC Divisional Playoff game where, after a Champ Bailey interception in Denver’s endzone, he was able to chase Bailey down the entire length of the field to prevent a score.
