Schloemer & Smith to play in O-D All American Bowl

Lakota West Firebirds Kevin Schloemer and Alex Smith have both accepted offers to play in the Offense-Defense All American Bowl.
The game, held Janurary 2nd in Myrtle Beach, SC, will feature elite high school senior football players from all over the country.
"We are very proud to have Kevin and Alex representing Lakota West, the G.M.C., and the entire state of Ohio," said West coach Larry Cox. "They are both looking forward to playing against some of the nation’s top high school players. This has been an outstanding senior class for Lakota West football and it is evident by their invitations to post-season play."
Schloemer (left), a 6'7" 270 pound tackle, has committed to play for the University of Cincinnati. Smith, a 6'5" 260 pound tight end, is expected to make his college choice shortly.
The game will be televised on Fox College Sports Network. |
